Grade-level activities planned at OHS

Onalaska High School students will participate in grade-level activities today, Nov. 1, that include service learning and college campus tours.

All students will start the day with an International Flag Ceremony that will recognize the international students attending OHS this year. Cross Country state participants will also be recognized during the assembly.

Ninth grade students will then participate in a service learning activity with elementary students at Irving Pertzsch and speakers including Paul Gulsvig as the keynote followed by breakout sessions.

Tenth graders will hear from speakers on options for after high school including military, workforce, 2-year colleges, 4-year public institutions, 4-year private institutions, and technical colleges. There will also be a texting and driving awareness presentation.

Eleventh grade will go on campus tours to either UW-L, Viterbo, or Western.

The 12th grade will participate in a senior year activity and receive information about senior year planning, graduation, and financial literacy.
